Are You Planning to Stay “In the Box” on Thanksgiving?

Been to the HMR Forums Lately? There’s something really great going on over there! With Thanksgiving fast approaching, people are using the Weight-loss Forum: The Phase 1 Thanksgiving Challenge to reinforce their commitment to stay “in the box” and keep losing weight.

If you’re in Phase 1 of the HMR Program, you know that the way to lose the most weight is to stay “in the box.” That means today, tomorrow, and on Thanksgiving... yes, even on Thanksgiving. As Keith put it so eloquently here, eating off the diet “just this once” is a myth. Once you eat out of “the box” it’s very hard to get back on track.

Given what your weight loss means to you, have you made the commitment to stay “in the box” on Thanksgiving? If so, would you like some added accountability to help you pull it off? It’s available to you in the Phase 1 Thanksgiving Challenge forum discussion.

Want some added perspective?

HMR dieter Rita lost 70 pounds in Phase 1 and has been keeping it off for over three years. In a recent HMRdiet Healthcast she shared how she stayed “in the box” to reach her goal weight. She looked at Phase 1 as a time-limited project. She knew that at some point the project would end, but in the meantime, she kept her weight-loss project a top priority. And as she said, “Just like if you’re renovating your kitchen, you don’t have people over for dinner. The project is the priority. Phase 1 is the project where you are ‘renovating’ you.”

With planning, you can stay “in the box” on Thanksgiving and still enjoy time with your family and friends. By really getting behind your commitment to keep the weight loss going, this can be another successful weight loss week for you and bring you that much closer to your goal.
We’d love to have you join us in the Challenge!
