My Physical Activity Accomplishments: I have been active ever since I can remember. When I was younger I participaed in gymnastics and softball. When I wasn't doing that I was jumping on the trampoline, riding bikes, swimming, or running with the neighbor kids. During Jr.High & High School I participated in track, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, and would workout a few times a week on top of all that. Running or climbing stairs was my favorite. When I started college I joined a gym to keep off the "Freshman 15". While working out at the gym I met a couple individuals who taught me a lot about weight training and nutrition. From there, I was introduced to the sport of body building. I decided to compete in my first competition at age 18. During college I studied Exercise Science, and declared that as my undergrad focus of study. All through school & even after I continued to compete in competitons. I also began personal training and teach group fitness classes during this time.

My Hobbies: Outside of competing I stay active lifting weights, all types of cardio, personal training, and instructing boot camp classes.

If you don't set a baseline standard for what you'll accept in life, you'll fine it's easy to slip into behaviors and attitudes or a quality of life that's far below what you deserve.
