My mom's health took a turn for the worse in Nov. and she passed away in Dec. It's been a very bad couple of months for me. Not only did I lose my mom but I lost my momentum due to emotional eating and gained back too much weight. After talking with my HE I have decided to enter the HMR Restart program at my clinic. I've been in Phase 2 since July 2011, however since November 2011 I've reverted back to my old habits. It's all emotional eating. I've only been away about 1 1/2 months but need the restructure of Phase 1.
The good news is that I am still protecting a 47 pound weight loss.

Sorry to hear about your Mother. I lost a parent recently and it's really an upsetting experience.
I'm also very glad you come back to HMR and will be re-starting. Here's wishing all the best of luck to you.
As a fellow 're-starter', I'd like to share with you that getting a quick start (doing the diet 100% and staying In The Box 100% from day 1) is critical. You can do this!

Hi Ann, so sorry to hear about your loss. I'm glad you're putting your health on the front burner, so to speak, and beginning your weight loss again. Best of luck to you!

Thank you both. The last few weeks I had thought of trying this on my own, but when I started having crazy thoughts like using Sensa, or trying another diet I decided it was time to head back to HMR. It is truly the best option!!
Even better news, since I wasn't officially discharged from HMR my insurance will continue to cover the cost of my classes. I was going back regardless, that was just an added benefit.

So sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my mom in late November too and have been struggling since. I just can't seem to be able to get it back together. Any suggestions for making it through an emotional trauma would be appreciated.
